Who doesn't leave there chain saw running while they put the chain back on.

#1 don't ride in the national forest

J A 09/08/2021 - 09:14

04:14 so even if it was being used on roads the top power setting makes the battery run out "super fast" ?? How fast is that?? 🤔🤔 Whats the assitance mileage be on mostly flat roads?

Skiamakhos 09/08/2021 - 09:14

Personally if I'm on the flat or going downhill I'll switch my bike off entirely. It doesn't need it unless I'm carrying a load – like yesterday I did a half hour's ride round the park, didn't touch the power. Wife summoned me up to Aldi to help her get the frozen food home quick, power on, whoop whoop, up the hill, pull into Aldi, then power on till I'm going downhill, sail down the hill, into the park, bag's heavy so power on again on the level, & high boost up the hill to mine out of the park. 1 week of riding, I'm 1 blob from the top on the battery meter, clocked up 40 miles already. But I'm using my bike to get a cardio workout, first & foremost – the boost is most useful when it's over, when I'm knackered & zombified & just want to get home.

Tom O'Leary 09/08/2021 - 09:14

I have a fat tire e-bike. Most "roadies" can't catch me unless my battery fails or I want them to. PS: I am a roadie too. PSS: average speed for tour de france riders is 21-25mph.

singwolf 09/08/2021 - 09:14

My 2 cents: I always leave the battery from 30-60% when not in use. then set the charge with a wi-fi switch directly from the phone

Sanel Sistek 09/08/2021 - 09:14

Bosch has bms system over charge procetion, so no need to watch when battery is full 😉

Dogtown16v 09/08/2021 - 09:14

Don’t see the point in getting a e bike and not using full mode.If I turned it off because of the weight of the bike it’s a lot harder than a normal mtb to ride.

David Baird 09/08/2021 - 09:14

You do not always need to change your chain and cassette / chainring together . Thats BS! EMBN

A timer for electric chargers is a great idea. Good job on the video!

Fleisch 09/08/2021 - 09:14

aaaah yes, racing the roadies…. No worries, i only make them crash, like they deserve it

Scott Kennon 09/08/2021 - 09:14

My tip is be careful attempting to do wheelies. I got an ebike after not riding any bike for years. Tried to do a wheelie. The cadence motor came on. I wound up with a great view of the sky.

Reality 09/08/2021 - 09:14

I didn't understand that last tip. Can someone please explain?

MrCElk 09/08/2021 - 09:14

15 Dogs arealoyal to the extreme. Biking is too fast for dogs who will try to keep up whatever the circumstances. Don’t do it unless you wish to permanently damage your dog. 5.39 !

Flee-Bitten Varmint 09/08/2021 - 09:14

TAPE? It's a wonderful invention! Put it over your drain holes if you want to wash your bike upside down! No brainer!

NO I haven't made any of these mistakes because they seem like comedy bullshit

Pickleman 09/08/2021 - 09:14

I don't have an ebike, just normal bikes, but I always take a charged phone, inner tube, tools and waterproofs if I am going on a long ride. I am surprised by the number of riders I see out with little or nothing for break downs. Come on guys, it is just common sense.

Kim Nenninger 09/08/2021 - 09:14

Sunna Ipsen 09/08/2021 - 09:14

Is it safe(on the motor) to do jumps? Certain height limit?

Kay Flip 09/08/2021 - 09:14

LMAO at the roadie tip. So true, especially here in NYC in Central Park once you get to the Harlem Hills. It's always fun to pass them when there are a lot of hills, but after that, they will just blow past you. Even with my 25 MPH top speeds, they are the only type of bike that still manages to pass me, lol.

Major Kursk 09/08/2021 - 09:14

Good info .. thanks for sharing your experience!

Helmut Gensen 09/08/2021 - 09:14

One thing I discovered: hydrolic brakes don't work after the bike's been upside down for obvious reasons

Jim Parker 09/08/2021 - 09:14

Thanks for this! Lots of good tips, but the last item alone made watching the video worthwhile.

Olli P 09/08/2021 - 09:14

Das mit dem Übersetzen in Deutsch üben wir aber noch. Grauenvoll 😫

Алексей Полониев 09/08/2021 - 09:14

You should not store battery at 100%. It kills the battery, like store "on charger".
30-50% charge is optimal.

JOHNWILLIAM KELLY 09/08/2021 - 09:14

Can a 36v battery work for a 500w ebike called Pace Aventon. The Pace Aventon battery and charger is 48v and the motor is 500w. I'm trying to get a substitute battery cause the original battery is out of stock. I want a battery that can be a direct fit without changing the plate may some 1 please give me the names. If i have to change the plate give me some options the best options ??

John Peter 09/08/2021 - 09:14

Speak louder. Faster with more accent. Still a bit of decent info.

Martin Scanlon 09/08/2021 - 09:14

Tip from Canada: bring bear spray.

GoodFodder 09/08/2021 - 09:14

Another tip (from experience) – dont use degreaser / wd40 on the motor as it can get into the bearings and cause premature failure

Punk I Am 09/08/2021 - 09:14

So instead of putting your bike upside down on the flat ground you're telling me to put jagged rocks under the bars and balance it, lmaoo

Rocky Neidhardt 09/08/2021 - 09:14

Half way through and I’m good so far

peter L 09/08/2021 - 09:14

What you should never do is buy one! Way overpriced

New York Vagrant 09/08/2021 - 09:14

My Raymon e-bike, has gone through three chains in less than a year. And by the time I need that third chain, I've gotta replace the cassette & derailleur. The stupidity of companies to charge $50, for each cog of a derailleur. Cheaper to buy the derailleur. I'm sure companies are engineering graphene component group specifically for e-bikes, with a price tag only affordable to those with a six figure income. Then again, if you're crazy to spend $8K, on a e-bike, ya really don't care what component costs are.

Myloh Smith 09/08/2021 - 09:14

I cannot subscribe and I’m going to have to give you a big thumbs down for taking your dog on that long run – ABUSE😡 Of course your dog needs exercise but that is horrendous treatment and not how a dog naturally runs👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻
