Of course you can’t just sit in your hometown waiting on a storm you must travel and those travel costs could be comparable to a local retail roofing company (warehouse, W2 employees etc)

I grew up framing and went on my own at 20 years old. It’s my third year roofing now(Yes, I’m roofing now, you know how that goes)😂
I’m naturally attracted to the insurance side of roofing because It’s my business that is selling the job, performing the repair, and providing a solid warranty
It’s only common sense that would point me towards insurance jobs that allow me the resources to do the job properly.
I just wish there was a business like yours in my area (NW MT) that I could go work for. I get your business model, I love it. And it’s what led me to go on my own. If you can’t find it, build it, am I right?:)

We do 75% insurance and 25% retail right now, I’m definitely building and shooting to do more retail but we’ve gotten so good at the insurance claims from beginning to end and we have such a good strong storm date here in southern Maryland it’s been really good 2020
I've done about 10 insurance claims and always had to get paid through the homeowner. I regulated/facilitated everything and spoke on their behalf. Can you send the paperwork so I can transfer over the rights for me to do it on their behalf entirely?
