My rv is at a campground Plugged in but cannot turn on all lights without it turning my ac off or Dim lights/both

I tested all the fuses with a test light n everything in there seemed to be 120 v

It was used, us this maybe bad wiring from previous owners? Or would I also need a full charged battery even if it's plugged in to a camp site hook up. Thanks

I have a 1986 xl pathfinder made by sportcoach it wont start one min then the next it will it was stolen and the wires under the dash are exposed its making a clicking sound 6 min ago its started now clock click click could that be the starter or the dylinoid or maybe a wire connected to the starter please help

One more thing. Current isn't about the speed of the electrons it's about the number of electrons that flow through any point in a wire per second. The heat is caused by the cumulative effect of the electrons flowing through the wire not their speed.

Thank you for this video but you should have mentioned. 120 Volt test lights exist and are very handy but should never be confused with a 12 Volt test light!

O.k. Great video but my house batter hookup ( in parallel) , looks to this x banker like a spaghetti bowl. In addition to the parallel hookup it has 3 other wires, one of which is attached to + terminal and descends into the coach apparently to transport 12v to house outlets . Then there is a second identical wire is attached to the other + which runs to what looks like a switch / cutoff ( ??) ;I have no idea what it’s function is or where it terminates.Then there is a third line which comes comes of one of the – terminals and seems to head into the coach; is this the negative component of the 12 v delivery system to the coach ?
And finally, I believe that there is a line or at least a “working relationship” between the house battery and the cab battery, can you please explain that . Thank you. Jim

What an excellent tutorial on RV power systems. Clear, concise, humorous, with diagrams. Made it so clear.
I learned what blew my DC system too – the old circuit breaker that most likely has to be replaced. This saved me a major expense and many hours of head scratching. Very much appreciated, thank you!

Okay so I'm a first year electrical apprentice and I was wondering about an RV can you use large capacitors like two microfarad and tandem with the batteries of an RV. I didn't want to ask my journeyman cuz he will usually say something like once you go work on RVs instead of being an electrician. It's kind of a smart ass he won't really give you an answer on something outside of being an electrician but this is electrician work so I don't get it

Thank you so much. I'm actually just trying to disconnect my furnace fan. That alone is running around 150 watt. I have a 100 watt solar system linked to 4 12 volt batteries in parallel but cant charge batteries until I disconnect what I dont need. Circuit breakers and these plastic box deals I can pull out and put back un
